Was it just me or was everyone attempting to celebrate Sukkot this year? You could see it in so many places. Everyone I know took a vacation. A blog I follow was giving away a kids teepee. Another one, camping supplies. Someone on Instagram was hosting a stunning campout to raise money for something or other. I heard about a million camping trips...in October...with small children. It was like people could feel the pull of YHWH's festivals but were completely unaware of it.
The final bit of reading to finish my goal of reading through Scripture in one year.
During Sukkot we read the final Torah portion. Simcha Torah is a day of celebrating Scripture.
We attended a very lovely Sukkot celebration.
Classy slate signage. A great explanation for those in your life who aren't familiar with the feasts of YHWH.
The people walking in darkness have seen a great light.
I told you I would be having dessert. :)
And that I would be enjoying the homegrown and local produce that's in season.
I loved how this Sukkot sign turned out but since it was SO WINDY it didn't last long outdoors.
Neither did the warm weather dog.
Shabbat shalom friends!
